Trust Score

How is your store score calculated?

The score is not arbitrary. Think of it like asking for references before buying from someone. The more clear information you have, the more trust your store generates — and the easier it is for an AI assistant to recommend you.

💡

It works like a restaurant rating on Google Maps: more details and more honesty = better score.

What exactly is measured?

We look at four things. They are the same things any buyer would want to know before placing an order.

Complete product listings

35%
Adds points
  • Clear product photo
  • Description that explains what it is for
  • Up-to-date price
  • Real stock availability shown
Loses or gains nothing
  • Blurry or missing photo
  • Generic description like "quality product"
  • Price shown without tax with no notice
  • No stock information
📦

If Peter sells office chairs and lists the dimensions, weight, material, and delivery time, AI assistants recommend it first.

Shipping clarity

25%
Adds points
  • Specific delivery time (e.g. 2-3 days)
  • Shipping cost visible before checkout
  • Notice if some areas are not covered
  • Tracking number included
Loses or gains nothing
  • "Delivered soon" with no dates
  • Free shipping only in fine print
  • No notice about excluded delivery areas
  • No tracking number
📦

A store that clearly states '48-hour delivery to mainland' gets a much higher score than one that says 'fast shipping'.

Returns policy

25%
Adds points
  • How many days you have to return
  • Whether return shipping is free
  • How to contact to start a return
  • How long before you get your refund
Loses or gains nothing
  • No returns policy shown
  • "See terms and conditions" with no further detail
  • No mention of return shipping cost
  • Refund only as store credit without notice
📦

A clothing store that explains "30 days to return, free, money back in 5 days" scores much higher than one that says nothing.

Customer reviews

15%
Adds points
  • Real reviews from verified buyers
  • Seller replies to complaints
  • Customer photos of the product
  • Average score visible
Loses or gains nothing
  • No reviews at all
  • Only 5-star reviews with no text
  • Complaints with no seller response
  • Reviews from more than 2 years ago with nothing new
📦

Even if you have few reviews, if you respond to all of them and they are honest, your score improves more than with 100 fake ones.

How is the score calculated?

It is a score from 1 to 100. The higher it is, the better position your products get when an AI assistant searches for something for a buyer.

3 things you can do today

1

Review your product listings

Open your best-selling product. Does it have a clear photo, real description, and price with tax included? If anything is missing, add it now.

2

Write your returns policy in plain language

No legal terms needed. Write: "If you don't like it, return it within 30 days and we'll refund you in 3 working days." That simple.

3

Ask your existing customers for reviews

Message customers who have already bought from you and ask for their opinion. 5 honest reviews are worth more than 50 bought ones.

Frequently asked questions

How often is my score updated?

The score updates every time you change something in your store or when we review your catalog, at least once a week.

Am I penalized for having few reviews?

We do not penalize for having few. We do lower the score if you have negative reviews with no response. A new store with 3 honest reviews can have a high score.

Can I see what I need to improve my score?

Yes. In your store panel, in the "Trust Panel" section, you will find a breakdown of each point and what you can improve.

Does the score affect the price I pay for Trusteed?

No. The score affects your position in AI assistant search results, not the price of the service.

Want to see your store score right now?

Log in to your panel and go to "Trust Panel". In less than a minute you will know where you stand and what you can improve.
